Both Pakistan and India have nukes, whereas neither Iran or Saudi Arab have any, but are backed up by USA and Russia. So both areas have potentially massive scale if they go to war.

So we could actually see two full scale, world-changing wars break out simultaneously. Worse still, because of the time it's been since the last big wars in these countries, nobody fighting in them has experienced "real" warfare like their parents and grandparents did.
