Going to uni for CompSci degree, I just realized how this degree is already mostly useless and will be completely so in a couple years. With the advancement of AI most of these jobs are already being replaced (and I still haven't even finished uni! Just imagine how bad it will be in a year or so). Now, whenever I mention this I see a lot of guys who work or are studying in this field pitifully cope saying that it's just techbro hype and that if you mention it, you don't actually know what you are talking about. Just stop! Accept that it is over and that sooner rather than later you will be kicked into your behind onto the cold harsh street. Adding to this, from what I see this also applies to other similar fields like engineering or architecture (basically all the highly specialized fields that don't involve much interaction with the physical world). Previously these fields were very popular for sub5 men as they were not so social, highly logical and well paid.
Even if you assume that all the AI is just hype and that it isn't real, you still have outsourcing to contend with. Why should greedy companies pay you six figures when they can just pay some guy in India a bag of rice to do the same? This connects nicely with the romantic front. Betabuxxing institution known as marriage is effectively done, gone forever. Betabuxxing being the way most men found relationships and had kids was already on it's way out as early as the 1960s - with foids being economically free they had no reason to be with a man because of his resources nor any societal, religious or governmental pressures to not whore out for Chad, but it still remains somewhat standing till the early 2010s.
