The motion controls were absolute dogshit. Most games forced you to use it and didn’t have GameCube or classic controller support. If people actually liked these controls they would have brought them back. The GameCube actually was pretty powerful and held up well against the Xbox and PS2. However the graphics on 360 and PS3 completely blew the Wii out of the water. I’m surprised it sold so well considering how shitty it was.

10 games. And out of those 10, the only games i've heard of are skyward sword and wii sports (Skyward sword re-released on the switch anyways with regular controller support)

The switch lite is better because it’s smaller and more portable Nintendo handheld spirit. Too bad they made the Switch 2 even bigger. I’m tired of these iPads with joysticks. I want a new DS or Gameboy.

Wii wasn't as good as GameCube , but it was easily one of the greatest game consoles in terms of exclusives. I'm glad it wasn't as powerful as the PS3/360 or else we wouldn't have gotten as many good games. Look at the Wii U where Nintendo struggled to release any games because higher fidelity graphics significantly increased development time.

Everything is getting bigger, my new budget phone is much thicker, screen is larger and much heavier (2017 nubia vs 2024 nubia). It's pretty weird if you ask me. Soon tablets will disappear since phones will be as big as them And at this rate next console after switch will weight 2kg

Motion control didn't do that, though. I won a Tiger Woods Golf tournament by learning to swing 100% straight by flicking my wrist emulating a swing. It was like that with a lot of games. Hence, the primitive motion controls were really a gimmick.
