the newer Lego games suck

rn on steam they got a big ass sale on Lego shit and it reminded me of how Lego star wars the complete saga is FAR better than the new skywalker saga.
basically in 2022 they re-adapted all the star wars movies into games with better graphics and shit. the issue is that they completely ruined the style and charm of the original Lego shit. instead of mumbling the characters actually talk, which is NOT better... they also added this weird ass uncharted-style assisted aim shooting shit and it's just complete ass. the Lego star wars collection from 18 years ago is a billion times better than the 2022 cashgrab soulless version.
i know im having a total autist meltdown rn but im right

They're definitely big down grades compared to the originals, I agree. There's nothing of value to them.

it took me like 100 hours to platinum the skywalker saga. games are too big and grindy now

Combat is vastly superior in new version and that all it matters, old games were just smash one button constantly. New > Old this time.
