For the people that said it does nothing for mental health
-Ways it impacts your mental health-
The vagus nerve
Production of neurotransmitters(like serotonin, which manages your mood and happiness or some other one the name of which I can't remember that is responsible for pleasure, dopamine I think)
Reduces brain inflammation
And some other unimportant stuff which noones gonna read anyways
www.cas.org
-The interesting part, it's relationship with mental disorders-
•Autism
https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-019-42183-0 (The study investigated the effects of Microbiota Transfer Therapy (MTT), a form of fecal microbiota transplant (FMT), on children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The findings revealed significant improvements in both gastrointestinal and behavioral symptoms, with autism-related symptoms decreasing by nearly 50% two years post-treatment.)
Conclusion: Steal chads shit and stuff it up your ass to fix autism
Im too lazy to continue but you get the point, the same thing goes for people with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, parkinson's and Alzheimer's (sort off on this last one, i dont think it was an actual cause but it still influenced it progression wise)
