Elijah went straight to heaven while alive and God wiped out all his enemies with fire from the sky.
Sounds wayyyyy cooler than being revived from the dead.
Also, many prophets have been able to raise others from the dead, like Elisha (who came after elijah).
In fact, someone just touching Elisha bones from his corpse brought ressurected the person.
If he changed his mind on something, then he is not all knowing.
Changing your mind means you lacked information before, and once you were exposed to new information it changed your mind.
The god portrayed in the new testament wouldn't be omniscient in that case.
I have some similarities in looks, who's this
