There's entire institutions that support women, lobby for preferential hiring, treatment and reallocation of resources through taxes.
Entire mainstream media is either straight up feminist or somewhat cordial towards it even at the furthest right. Women's shelters, special charities dedicated to women, quotas for management.

It just needs the populace to be easily controlled, and that's possible through manipulating the resources that are necessary for the populace to exist. People still need to listen to the government enough for the resources to be controlled. To survive people need food, water and basic infrastructure. These things are controlled directly by workers. The government can control them by controlling upper management, which in turn keeps the workers under control, but if dissatisfaction reaches a point where people no longer care about losing their jobs, the control breaks. The only thing that allows unfair systems to work is people's respect for the economic structure of their country. That respect only exists when people have enough to satisfy them.

This is why through history you can see many examples of control being used against people and suddenly failing when people's quality of life drops too low and a revolution starts.

I don't agree with this. People, in reality, are too fuckin' tired to care about politics to care if their rights are being overridden. The way I see it is people don't care about politics as long as their needs are met. They don't see how the government is slowly overreaching their way to control us. In the case of the US gov, there needs to be a way for the populace to be hyper-aware of politics such that are rights should not be trampled, and the gov's control of the economy has its hand on keeping the populace busy. The problem is what the populace doesn't know, the government can do. Add to the fact on the power of lobbying where liberal corporations can influence politicians to legislate laws that will benefit them. Now, we got a fucked up system that's slowly creeping towards an authoritarian regime backed by powerful corporations to keep us as cattle.
