Psychopathy is traditionally a personality disorder characterized by persistent antisocial behavior, impaired empathy and remorse, and bold, disinhibited, and egotistical traits.

as you can see, its almost identical with the how you would see a bully. then why psychologists are so afraid of categorizing bullies as psychopaths?
what about none-violent psychopathy? are all psychopath's violent? those are questions that needed to be asked.

why do we call killers psychopaths, but when we try to categorize bullies we simply call them "socially impaired".

Women are also attracted to men with greater degrees of psychopathy or "dark triad" personality.

This is because women are hardwired to be subservient and dominant men trigger that. It is also because dominant men historically would have been better providers eg. in cavemen eras.

however, being over-aggressive and untamed can have negative consequences for the female and the offspring.
we know that in the most patriarchal societies its encouraged to kill woman whom don't obey the rules of the man.
also consider this, even an over-aggressive meat-head needs to negotiate sometimes, and negotiating is a big part of being human. being unrelenting can put you in serious trouble, including the woman.
this might explain why "prison couples" exist, the mom is taking care of the baby while the dad is in prison (or dead). the woman is hardwired to live in a world of chaotic abuse and insanity.

Evolution leads to extremes. For example, young women are more fertile than old women, so evolution has made men attracted to young women. So much so that it's normal for average healthy men to get erections even over prepubescent girls. This is not helpful. But it is a side effect of evolution's productive drive towards favoring youth.

The same applies with women and their desire for aggressive men. Aggressive men have advantages. When the aggressiveness is too extreme, it is no longer helpful. But just like with men and youth, evolution pushes us to our extremes. In the case of women, this means wanting men who might just beat them to death.
