The left's obsession with calling ethnonationalists Nazis

This is fascinating to me, lol

It's basically meant as a pejorative for ethnonationalists isn't it, I guess.

It seems like the leaps go:

anyone with nationalist views -> ethnonationalist -> Nazi

Very bizarre. I do get that among ethnonationalists there is a tendency to blame the Jews and Zionists... but to be fair Zionists do have a LOT of power in the West, and it seems more common to notice that among nationalists than other groups.

So I guess I can see that to someone so far away from this worldview, there's a desire to just bundle everyone on our side together under the pejorative of "Nazi", based on the view that the Nazis weren't socialists and that they were... very violent and oppressive to non-whites.

I guess I use Commie a lot but I do think that's a bit closer to reality for much of the left.

In reality ethnonationalists really do just want to be able to have countries with their own people.
