It's so unjust. So barbaric. Ridiculously harsh sentences even for victimless, non-violent crimes that shouldn't be crimes. Barbaric prisons. People locked in cages and fed barely anything to keep them weak. Treated like subhumans ensuring they never get reformed. Violent thugs together with non violent offenders. Charged exorbitant fees that they can never hope to repay keeping them under forever. They might as well just fucking shoot them in the head. But no, if someone tries to kill themselves they will be put on suicide watch and forced to endure the miserable existence that has been cultivated for them. Actually they do do that sometimes. Especially in Texas and Florida where black hearted judges hand out the death penalty like candy for a wage. This society is sick. I may be ignorant, but I feel like this is the only country where its citizens are treated like garbage at this frequency. America is a fucking shithole.
