Human nature is predetermined, differences at the individual level do not fundamentally change our presets. We are all born to learn, adapt and function as people with dreams and ambitions. Eventually death becomes us. The word hivemind is thrown around a lot but it's fucking true. As people we exist in a society that enforces and rewards companionship, everything is determined by your relations. Career advancements, dating, hobbies, simply existing in society revolves around interpersonal relationships. Alongside this rules of society naturally follow. These are unwritten rules that dictate how you must look and act and behave or face scrutiny.
For the neurotypicals this a normal task; they are hardwired to not question. To an NT these rules are a code of conduct and they obey religiously, which in turn gets rewarded. They fulfil their pyramid of needs: friendship and romance are rewards for acting in ways that society has deemed 'normal'. For a neurodivergent, like most of us I assume, these behaviours are not innate. We see the irrationalities and flaws in NT logic and we voice these concerns. In our struggle to learn and adapt to society we upset NTs on a fundamental level because we don't understand something that came so easily to them.
Seeing a person without a relationship, who has never engaged in courtship goes directly against the human condition (or their ideation of it) and so we exist as an anomaly. The idea, the thought, the rationale that a person could, through no immediate fault of their own, not engage in activity so crucial to their human existence just doesn't compute. Therefore we are scorned. Us incels represent an upset to the very foundation of their being. The problem HAS to lie with us because the only other alternative in their minds is that society caused these anomalous behaviours.
