After watching this and several other films on "Hikikomori" I can safely say that Japanese are more empathic and that means more human-like than anybody else. The hikikomori problem isn't just theirs, the Western SOYciety has it as well but DOES NOT notice it and when it does, it either ignores it or even tries to shame people (MEN!) who are like that. But only the Japanese could notice this problem, address it and try to solve it (for example with sisters to rent, many different programs that help men connect with the society, etc.).
And the first guy's life is exactly like mine. He even sits like me (I am white though).

Read the above, also, you do know that suicide rates are higher in USA (per 100k people) for younger people than in Japan? It's just that Japan has a lot of 45-80 age group suicides compared to USA. But the Hikikomori is about younger people. Your argument is clearly invalid.
