Lately, I've been thinking about the reason I'm an incel. We talk on here all the time about how we want prospective girlfriends we'd have to be pretty and young, and that's a view I agree with in general strokes. I think that the reason I haven't been able to find anyone is because those standards that we have are shared by just about every person even if they don't admit it: we all want someone young and pretty.
I'd call myself like a mid 3/10 to low 4/10 in attractiveness, and if I was asked by a 1 to sleep with her I'd turn her down on the spot. Bluepillers call this kind of mindset "superficial," but I think they just say so as a method of shaming people for not behaving in a way that lines up with their preconceived notions of how someone should behave when searching for a partner. That is to say, it makes me sad when the 7/10 I want turns me down, but I don't really think I have the right to be angry because I did the same thing to the 1. The same thing happens to her when she wants to date Chad anyway.
If it was socially acceptable to turn down people by just saying "No, you're not attractive enough" instead of making up some convoluted reason about personality or inner ugliness or vibes or whatever, I think the world would be a better or at least more honest place.
