My overbite is worsening but I'm still somewhat young so I think I I should get something to fix that. In my country government healthcare is a thing (it's getting worse of course, but it's a thing), but public dental care for adults is almost nonexistent. ALMOST, though, because it does exist for people on welfare (which I am as a result of being a uni student), so I decide to ring up and see if I can get that for free.
I ring up, go through 3 levels of "press 6 to go to x place, 7 to go to y place" and this dumb nasally-voiced cunt very nonchalantly tells me that the average waiting time for consultation is 18 months to two years. I immediately hung up without saying anything. I wish I could have broken her nose right there and then, stupid useless foid working for a disgustingly bloated inefficient bureaucratic shitstain of an institution. I think if the government gassed its own employees (in roblox, everybody has a right to life) society would improve, starting with this smug 20-something roastie with the easiest job in the world who doesn't even have the decency to tacitly admit she works for pieces of shit and sounds like a giant cunt. I'm gonna go pay for private consultation now because I have to, and it will probably cost a couple hundred dollars.
I hope to god it's at least better quality than what the shit retard government can give (knowing my luck it probably won't be), the last dental checkup I had was at 17 with the government and the two 40 year old dumpy beckies small talking while they shone a lamp in my face mentioned "hmmm your teeth look like they grind against each other" but then insisted that nothing was wrong with my clearly-progressing overbite.

You could say they just didn't care, but the government of my country also has a "work for the dole" program that forces welfare recipients to pick up papers and do other torture-tier busywork for 6 hours a day so they get off welfare. When people die en-masse on waiting lists because their kidneys are failing after consuming food the government approved for general consumption and drinking water the government put toxic chemicals in, does the government turn our opt-in organ donation system into an opt-out one? NOPE, people continue to die and you continue to see these really interesting articles on illegal organs being sold to dying people at a premium. When they can't benefit from doing something they punish people with torture busywork and exorbiantly long waiting times so they stop wasting the money of something that supposedly exists to provide people with services. The only thing the government really serves is itself, they are a cartel. If you worship the government and want it to be your parent you are retarded and should kill yourself, if you leech off the government you're just giving them a taste of their own medicine and are a champion.
An opt-in system would compromise "liberal values" (literally on the government-associated Australian kidney foundation website, I wouldn't make this shit up) but when the government beats you with a hosepipe in your undies in a dark room after 6 days of sleepless detention for maybe being a terrorist at an airport, and you can't own guns unless you're a farmer while rabid migrants stab law-abiding people in the suburbs, giving people the ability to choose what they want to do with their lives is not mentioned. They just want to control you, milk you and torture you.
