I'm not against gymceling, I do (or did) it myself, but don't you think it's genuinely fucking strange?
We literally live in a world where average men have resorted to lifting weights several times a week, often doing strange powerlifting exercises and religiously tracking their macros and for what? To become more attractive to women? JFL.
I was browsing reddit's foreveralonedating subreddit the other day and some guy with a pretty average physique, decent amounts of muscle but quite high bf%, not really aesthetic had an album of his pics. About halfway down there were like 3 different pictures of this guy shirtless doing random ass bodybuilding poses, with a completely blank/absent facial expression as if that's remotely normal lmao. I mean wtf has happened.
I can actually remember a point in time where going to the gym/being muscular was considered cool. Since like 2012 it's been extremely common, and in the past few years it basically induces a "oh, another one?" type response. In 20 years the average guy will be able to run a 2 hour marathon and women won't bat an eyelid.
