A good looking boy is rarely corrected, punished or scolded for his behavior. An unattractive boy's actions are constantly nitpicked at by parents, teachers, and classmates. A constantly-praised and/or never-corrected boy grows up confident and assuming everyone likes him (which is true), while his ugly counterpart grows up with a world view where he feel everyone hates him.

I was treated like literal shit by my parents despite always being a rather quiet kid. But it depends though. Some incels do behave like shit when they are kids, and so they earn it (I know one ugly kid like that who plays the entitled millionnaire with his parents ... Even a good looking kid behaving like he does would earn mistreatment.).
