Depending on where you live the best step might be to make an appointment with a legal consultant, if you can prove in a court that this has negatively influenced your life or mental health you have a case.

on top of that, https://www.eff.org/issues/cda230 makes site owners NOT liable for shit posted

there's nothing he can do that won't make the situation massively worse

Like address, which is considered dox.
My ex gave out my full name. Then the piece of shit faggit literally slandered my name accusing me of posting cp or some shit.
The faggits do not have visible proof that I posted cp, just a bunch of hearsay.
Anyways posting my address is still considered dox because its private. All he could've done was link my name through white pages.

I dunno the laws in your particular state nor I'm a lawyer, but I suggest that you get one and really give them the REEEEvenge that they deserve.

also sue everyone who ever called you a pedo. it's liable and it's a criminal offence.
