3 years after graduating high school, I was doing my daily routine. Sitting on 4chan for 18 hours a day.

A chad who graduated with me, (I didn’t actually graduate because I got all Fs but still), came to my dads house (I had no idea anyone was coming) which was being sold and said “oh hey [name]”

There I was, completely caught off guard, in the middle of yet another 18 hour 4chan browsing section, shirt covered in stains, face covered with chocolate cake, mayonnaise and cum stains all over my black polyester shorts.

I looked up at the chad and awkwardly said hi, never expecting to see him of all people.

It was so fucking awkward and I felt pathetic.

He became a very successful real estate agent while I was sitting at home doing absolutely nothing with my life years after school. He also got married and im still a KHHV 10+ years later.

Brutal rotterpill, i often feel ashamed of existing. This is how i feel whenever i meet someone from childhood.

Man being reminded about how far behind you are in life is definitely one of the worst feelings a human can experience. The inevitability of time is made clear to you once you see normal people around you outpacing you in the race called life.
