The cube square law states that

When an object undergoes a proportional increase in size, its new surface area is proportional to the square of the multiplier and its new volume is proportional to the cube of the multiplier.

Take 2 people, a 170cm shortcel and a 190cm tallfag: the tallfag is only 11.76% bigger than the shortcel but thanks to the cube square law his body has almost 40% more volume.
