The boomers didn't grow up with high speed internet, porn, gaming, social media and online dating. They had nothing preventing them from gathering social circles and maintaining them. Finding a job was easy for them, and houses were very affordable back then. They had a reason to work hard so that they could bring in an income for their family and children. There was a straight and narrow path for them with simple life goals that were achievable and provided motivation for them to follow. Most boomers today are very happy in their expensive houses and cars, laughing and joking together as they reap all the benefits as the younger generations struggle to get anywhere in life.
Now if you are a millennial or gen-z, you were either transitioned into the new age of technology during school years, or you were born into it. Now you have an unlimited number of distractions which provide short term pleasure, but long term destruction. Its very difficult to now live a life without using modern technology, and by using the technology it only influences you into using more of it and become addicted to it whether that is gaming, browsing the internet, netflix, etc. This makes it harder to maintain your social circles and lowers your social skills.
Social media and online dating have completely changed the minds of young women to such a point that they are not interested in 80% of young men and would prefer they do not even exist unless they can be useful to them. Finding a girlfriend or wife today is almost impossible due to this and monogamy will soon be a thing of the past. If you are a young man who cannot find a mate, then what motivation is there for you to work hard, and to get a house? Why even bother now especially as you are more likely to be hired and helped be promoted now being a woman.
We truly are alone gents, but I expect a societal collapse soon, then who knows what is going to happen? There will be more riots and more killings the further down the rabbit hole society goes, eventually there will be a breaking point. I think the best we can do is just observe the societal collapse, sit back and enjoy.
