In TV shows & movies the lead characters regardless of gender tend to have strong bone definition faces & above average height.
If you have an ugly character they more often than not have a terrible personality & are an antagonist rather than protagonist jfl.
James Ellsworth was portrayed as a joke character due to diminutive size compared to the physically dominant wrestlers & recessed chin.
When was the last time you saw someone with a shit lower third in a prominent good guy role in media. Sure it can happen but no one takes it seriously as everyone is too focused on their fucked looking face or manlet status. When you have Jawline McChin the audience is drawn to them but can't think why, "oh they just have some kind of appeal ya know".
Attractive ppl are more easy on the eye hence get the bigger roles in TV entertainment & this throws the average persons conception of what average looks truly are, add the makeup department doing their magic pre scene & you have looksmaxxed ppl on screen attempting to come across as natural & everyday effort.
