According to the Democracy Index Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium, Greece, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Iceland, the United Kingdom, and Ireland are ‘full democracies’. I doubt that elections are rigged in every single one of these countries. In fact I doubt that elections are rigged in any of these countries. I also doubt that elections are rigged in the United States which the Democracy Index lists as a ‘flawed democracy’ (if our elections were rigged Trump wouldn’t have won again or even the first time). I doubt that elections in democratic nations are rigged. The problem with democracy is that fact that it allows people to vote that shouldn’t, not elections being rigged.
