People have veneered reasonings/ meanings for their actions. just so that people can fall for them, without their real intentions and the immorality and difficulties they have being on behalf of what gives them the fall.
In my opinion, with the way humanity naturally makes veneered reasons that paint them as morally upright, then they are using "be yourself, be chill with who you are, just be confident" as an expression for what they're doing. In reality they're not.
