Ricers are starting to die out. They are all right at the tipping point where their births minus deaths are equaling out. The reason for this is their populations are still relatively young, and most of them had very high birthrates up until recently.

One way to look at it is some countries getting more people makes them even more wealthy. Eg.. the USA.

On the other hand many poor countries more people makes things even worse. So those countries the people would be better off if they had like 1/4 or1/8th or something of the people they currently have.

Eg.. for many poor countries their main money comes from resources exports. So with 1/8th the people, it would mean 8 times more per person for the resource exports money.
