Rote Zora (English: Red Zora) was a West German far-left feminist terrorist organization active from 1974 to 1995. The group committed a series of bombing and arson attacks against ideological enemies.
The organization had previously existed from 1974 as "Women of the Revolutionary Cells" and began its attacks in 1975, with a bombing of the Federal Constitutional Court of Germany in Karlsruhe, and in 1977 with a bombing outside the offices of the German Doctors Association, both of which were to protest against support for anti-abortion laws. In 1978, Rote Zora committed arson attacks against sex shops in Cologne. In 1981, they set fire to the car of a lawyer in Cologne, and distributed fake local public transport tickets in the Ruhr area. In 1983, Rote Zora committed four bomb attacks against a recruitment agency for foreigners, a bomb attack on the Philippine embassy in Bonn, bomb attacks against Siemens in Braunschweig and Witten, Attacks on the Nixdorf Computer in Hanover, and the data center of the Association of Clubs Creditreform in Neuss. In 1984, they committed an arson attack on two companies in Gütersloh who were accused of using prison labor for private profit. In 1985, attacks were committed on the Max Planck Institute for Plant Breeding Research in Cologne, a medical institute of the University of Heidelberg, and the Institute of Genetics of the University of Cologne.
They have been active until the 1995 and in the 2007 one of them was arrested, yet there is not much about it, one of the best reportages is in Indonesian.
The movement for the free rights lol. It's funny how the internet does try to censure this kind of information by deleting them or by flooding them with nonsense. If you google for it, you will find a movie and useless informations. Worse than a dictatorship.
I wonder how many of these feminist terrorist have been out there and still they are, but nobody is talking about it.

After nearly 20 years on the run, Adrienne Gershäuser finally surrendered to the Berlin police, Germany, in 2006. She is the last member of Rote Zora: a left-wing revolutionary feminist group from West Germany.
Reported by the Guardian in 2007, during a trial held in Berlin, Gershäuser admitted that for 10 years he had been consciously involved in the attack carried out by Rote Zora. Together with the group he also carried out a series of bombings and arson attacks whose targets focused on patriarchal values and symbols of capitalism: from sex shops, medical institutions, courts, embassies, to factories that ignored workers' rights and violated public policies.
Arrested when he was 58 years old, Gershäuser was actually a qualified radio technician. Kate Connoly's report to the Guardian states, with this scientific background that Gershäuser several times helped make bombs for Rota Zora, although not all of them exploded. One of the locations targeted by the Gershäuser bomb was the Max-Planck-Institut für molecare Genetics (the Max Planck Institute for Berlin Genetic Engineering) in 1986 and a clothing factory in Bavaria in 1987.

Gershäuser, 58, a qualified radio technician, helped build the bombs, buying the alarm clocks for detonators in two cases, neither of which were successful. She went on the run with her lover, Thomas Kram, a leading member of the Revolutionary Cells, in 1987, supposedly after a tip-off from the East German secret police, the Stasi. She emerged last December and gave herself up to the police.
