Yeah really sad news I was very upset when I found out but he left a legacy which will be remembered for decades to come people will remember him when technology advances even more and realize that he was actually right.

When I was born, he was still out and about. He didn't get captured until I was a teenager. As the Internet developed and his manifesto became more available, it became clear he was pretty based.
Interestingly, there's a theory that he may also have been the Zodiac Killer. He was in the Bay Area at the time of the Zodiac killings and had the mathematical background to write all those cyphers (he was an assistant professor at UC Berkeley). The Zodiac killer primarily targeted women, but also couples in lovers' lanes. The killings stopped around the same time he returned home to Chicago.. Around the time he went back to Chicago, there was a Zodiac-style killing in a wealthy Illinois suburb.
I think at some point when he was in the Bay Area, he supposedly contemplated becoming a woman because he realized he'd never make it anywhere in life as a man. Not saying I agree with that, just saying I understand what it's like to be an incel in a pre-Internet world with no one to compare notes with. There's no evidence he ever had a girlfriend or ever had sex.
His cabin in Montana was the epitome of LDAR.
