Many guys my age hang out with groups, get pussy, experience life etc. Its really just about incels vs non genetic waste. The only guy I know who is as lonely as me is a chubby discord hermit. Literally every guy my age who isnt a total social pariah and is decent to good looking is doing more than fine. In my former hs i might and likely are the only one who literally talks to no one. Yeah there's no doubt that past societies were in many aspects objectively better for autists and the like just cause the difference between a sperg and a non sperg would be barely noticeable or at least much less socially punishing.

When you say vapidness and comformity i rather think of post traditional codes of socialization (cause tradition was also very conformist, albeit in a less toxic way) alligned on what french intellectual Guy Debord called the Spectacle ie life itself escaping into a representation rather than being an objective lived experience due to the rise of consumer society and medias but then as a cherry on top comes neoliberalism and individualism which multiply the initial problem by adding a cutthroat competitive spin to it, of proportions never seen in human history on an individual level. That's why it's so tough for autistic men or even sensitive, sensible men nowadays given that soyciety still values gender expression (especially women, which is the epitome of hypocrisy in a post-feminist society), but the only thing those men hear as they collapse nervously from it all is that they're toxic or unadjusted LMAO.
