You don't have to be somebody significant or well known for something like this too happen. In fact if you are poor, you have nothing of value, and completely disenfranchised. It is a lot easier to get away with the harassment, because nobody will believe you.

I've been doxxed once by suspicious individuals that claimed to be National Socialists. I don't think much of it, but I know they're attached to some kind of watchdog organization or a petty small time unprofessional one.
