Was playing a card game with my mum and sisters and I forgot how the topic even came up but I basically started to open up about my issues with dating and how hard it was for me and men in general these days and how cold approach is dead and that women don't want random dudes they've never seen before just walking up to them and asking them out on campus and, as you can probably expect, they began to roll out the classic bluepill copes such as "even if she says no she'd still be flattered", "guys have standards too" and of course, "you have nothing to lose if you at least try", etc. We don't usually talk about that sort of thing in our family so it felt a bit odd/surreal discussing something like that with them for once. They seemed completely oblivious to the reality that men had it harder than women and insisted that the struggle between men and women as far as dating was essentially equal (super cringe bluebill, i know). I basically just nodded in agreement with whatever advice they tried to give me because I didn't want to make them uncomfortable by blackpilling them and sharing my true beleifs. But overall I was glad to at least hear their perspectives I guess.
