Switch 2 will cost too much on release

From a verified source I know that it will cost 500usd when it comes out, and I thought it would cost less for its components, which are less powerful than rtx 3050 that you can find for 200usd on the market just to run a pokémon game with ps2 graphics

Everything Nintendo is sold at a huge premium. Nintendo is smart using old cheap parts.

Switch 2 raw specs are horrible. The equivalent GPU is like a heavily underclocked 1660 (but with modern features like DLSS). It will perform better in console conditions, I'd guess 1650 range, but that's still worth nothing. CPU, I don't know what to compare it to, it's many generations ago.

I'm happy because Switch games are very easy to emulate, other than Nintendo's endless efforts to stop it.

And they will be using DLSS to render from 520-720p -> 1080p to make battery life better. So have fun with your ps3 resolutions in every game
