When it's not directly about their inceldom, it's usually about having low social status or having "failed their life" (failed their education, failed their career). Both of these things are basically linked to the ability to marry and father children.

Yea. I have an uncle just like this who my mother used to warn me about when i was young. The poor guy got put in a mental institute. I have seen him once years ago when i visited and man.... you understand why when you get older. He was unattractive, just overall low status.
