Many didn’t like it for being too different from the other paper mario titles but I thought it was a pretty solid game if you treat it as it’s own thing. It’s one of my favorite childhood games and I’ve played it many times throughout my life.

It’s suicidefuel because of the ending, though. The main villain ascends with the side character Timpani, and they live happily every after while I rot. The whole reason Count Bleck was going to destroy all worlds was because of lack of pussy, makes me wish he actually did.

The game also reminds me of my ex oneitis because I was playing the game a lot around the same time I fell in love with her, sounds autistic I know. Maybe the love story elements of the game made me believe some fairy tale lie that I would have a chance with my oneitis.

Long story short pretty good game if you’re a Nintendo fan and haven’t played it

The song "Faded" By Allen walker reminds me of my first ever crush to since I listen to that song a lot when I developed a crush on her

The crush I had on my oneitis made me listen to the song “lights down low” by MAX. The music video was my perfect fantasy of knowing this girl my entire life and marrying her, then growing old together. Since she rejected me, that music video is pure suicidefuel now

Really good game, and i have only good memories with it, even doing the 100 stages two times for the secret bosses is still a pretty good memory.

I don't really have a problem with the ending, i really like it because it shows count Bleck and his goons were not fundamentally evil, count bleck actually managed to get back with the love of his life, Timpani. Even if it meant the end of his life, he willingly sacrificed himself to save the world at the end of the game, but he did so thanks to the love Timpani had for him. Maybe the ending is pretty cheesy with "the power of love" stuff but it makes sense for count Bleck to do so, as this is what he always wanted.

Sad that this was the last paper Mario game with likeable characters who you really care for troughout the game.

Yeah you know a game is great when you really want a sequel but at the same time the ending ties it all together so well that you’re content with how it turned out

Nintendo could always build another universe and lore with different characters but they won't because it's too much efforts for them. You can't grow attached to toads (who make up 99% of npcs in later paper mario games JFL) because they all look the fucking same.

Chapter 7 was my favorite chapter in the game, people found it hard but once you play the game enough times and know what you’re doing it’s a great area, from the underwhere to the overthere

I really liked the ost of chapter 7, the chapter is not really hard but more of annoying (mostly the part in the overthere, the underwhere is pretty chill). Chapter 3 is definitely the best overall because of the ost, even if sometime the tree level was fucking shit and i slipped off a platform, the water level was surprisingly pretty good. The part with Francis being an otaku with anime shit and cat maids in his room is funny, when i was younger i didn't really understood what he was meant to be.

I memorized that level pretty good, all you need to know is where the black apple and red apple is, then the rest is just a matter of going up. That section is nostalgic because I just remember playing it early in the morning over the summer when I was 13 years old, innocent and happy, not exposed to an ounce of blackpill, and just enjoying my life.

That's how i feel with most ds and wii games, it's funny thinking that maybe future incels will be having the same discussion about recent games like origami king. The Mario&Luigi series of rpg were also pretty good, they don't have a better plot than super paper mario but they are still enjoyable and i have good memories of stealing my ds late at night (my dad took it from me because i was sperging out at home) and finishing mario&luigi partners in time.

Excellent game. Getting to visit the Mario world's equivalent of Heaven and Hell after Mario literally dies was mind blowing to me as a kid.
