“An intriguing 2011 study by Marie-Aude Boislard, François Poulin, and Melanie J. Zimmer-Gembeck offer more tantalizing clues. The researcher found that there is no singular route to adulthood virginity. While media attention has focused on young people purposefully choosing sexual abstinence, others seem to remain a virgin due to a lack of choice. And indeed this is an accurate description of the men that I have worked with. The study found that, during late childhood, individuals who matured into involuntary virgins were: more victimized and ridiculed by peers as children, socially withdrawn (preferred to play alone), and also less liked and accepted by their peers.

Does this mean the childhood mistreatment by peers can predispose one to involuntary virginity? Or are personal characteristics leading to involuntary virginity already impacting peer relationships during childhood? According to Boislard, "Our study suggests that a proportion of adult virgins have been on a life-long trajectory of low integration and unpopularity among peers. This seems to extend to a lack of sexual opportunities in emerging adulthood, but more research in the area is needed to draw conclusions." It doesn't seem, however, that the image depicted in films is necessarily reflective of reality; delayed virginity isn't merely the result of bad luck and missed opportunities.”

Get bullied, ostracized, rejected and abused your whole life, finally lose it after years and years and vent saying some mean words on an internet forum, get gaslighted for it and accused of having a bad personality which was from the beginning what made you go through all that.

Exactly. What happens to us in our childhood leads to what occurs in adolescence which leads to what occurs in adulthood

in elementary school, there were boys who were obsessed with sports and you could tell they’d be chads in HS or college

I've read many studies that show a strong statistical relationship between childhood ostracism and being on the receiving end of bullying and persistence of the experience of being bullied throughout life--well into adulthood. Clinical psychology has understood this for decades, but it's in its own best interests to push the agenda of the "maladaptive" individual as the cause of harmful aggressions. Society sure as hell doesn't give a damn about the effects on the lives of those it has happily broken and discarded.

It's called pre-selection lad. It not only applies to women but also to normies. When they notice a lack of confidence, they will subconsciously know that previously you had terrible experiences socially or were ostracized before. It's the only explanation.

And instead of helping you out they conform to what happened to you previously and either avoid you entirely or bully you as well because in their minds you "must have done something to deserve it"

Every single normfag runs by a just world fallacy, and by doing so they justify any further abuse they commit towards you.

Involuntary ostracism, involuntary bullying, involuntary harassment, involuntary celibacy. See a trend here?
