I don't support colonization. But all I can say in your case is that, Africa failed to defeat exploitation. Virtually every continent was colonized by the Brits/Belgium/Netherlands etc, and every continent has more or less kicked out the colonizers except for Africa where France still has some sort of soft colonization (from what I heard).
Asia (sgp, hkg, Malaysia, indoesnia, Vietnam etc) had kicked out the colonizers and learned from them technology and administration.
Arabs kicked them out too.
So far Africa is the only place thsy had failed to rebound/decolonize (soft form)

I don't support colotpfnization, but I'm a chronically online user with no political power. It does seem like if your people wants to defeat colonization, they must develop IQ and reduce overpopulation to at least kick out them.

Also I wouldn't blame soft colonization too much for the reason of Africa's distress. You guys have vast land mass and large population, as well as many countries and subcultures, couped with poor infrastructure. I do agree that black people should have been more focused on defending our land from invaders back when we had the capability of doing so, but I don't agree with the notion that Asians or any other group of people were subjected to anywhere near the amount of sabotage that blacks were put through. As soon as the gun was invented, and the Asians, Arabs, and Europeans got their hands on them, our fate was sealed at that point. No other race had all the other races gang up on them at gunpoint like that. It was a team effort to take down the one race that up until that point was undefeated and held most of the wealth of the world at that time.
