Basically what he's saying is, the old scientists won't know shit about new inventions therefore it's ridiculous and stupid and just useless overall, to question them about legitimacy, you make the invention you test it out, they don't know shit about what's inside your brain why the fuck is peer review so important?!?

I just say people use peer review as an excuse for lack of research on their part, they put all the faith into these ordinary people who happen to get PhDs and so on.

There are a ton of scientists who wander out of their field of expertise and give peer reviews beyond their scope.

Though, it does not undermine the order of empiricism, this is the most practical and effective way to conduct research; even with sperg scientists huffing their anal glands in peer reviews.
