SSD drives are so overrated| the new HDD have progressed

SSD are very good for old machines and laptops but investing too much in them is pointless

just bought 1TB seagate with 64mb cash and it copies at 245mb/s from an SSD

i like ssd for the system drive but other than that...they are not so needed

Yeah if I built a new PC I'd only use a 250 GB system SSD or something and a second HDD for storage.

SSD are much better, the latency is much lower so reading alot of small files in succession like what happens in game loading or OS boot up for example is alot quicker. Got a 750gb crucial for £105

i bought 128 gb ssd way back then when it was considered the mega shit

samsung some shit - it is still very good

I also have WD green - it is very slow but very reliable (mine is like 8 years old)

But I am really impressed by my new barracuda - that shit is legit fast for an HDD
