Hypergamy that's based on physical attributes is nowhere near as bad in China as it is in the West. I've been a lot of incel tier guys coupled up with females who are either their looksmatch or even slightly above. Most of the guys there are around my height (5'7) and they have gfs. The height difference between the male and the female is smaller as well relative to Canada where females are all paired up with men who tower over them by 6 inches. This means that the average chinese female isn't as demanding about a man's physical attributes as their counterparts in the west. In Canada, its rather rare to see a guy around my height with a girl. Most of the short guys in Canada be walking alone rather than with a girl besides them.

However, this doesn't mean that hypergamy doesn't exist. Chinese women WILL cuck their rice partners for white dick but white men are barely found in China. The sex tourist white male narrative is overemphasized in my opinion. I hypothesize that hypergamy is far more noticed along the lines of finances rather than looks. I think that Chinese females demand a rich guy rather than a good looking guy because they emphasize living in comfort over sexual gratification. This emphasis of comfort over looks might have to do with the fact that Chinese are lower in testosterone than whites. Greater T means higher sexual desire and more degeneracy.

that's not surprising, china is a very homogeneous country, and asians are in of themselves a very homogeneous race where there is very little variation in their features to distinguish between them, hence the "all asians look alike" stereotype

Its very hard to judge based on physical attributes when basically everybody is short, with black hair, most roundish faces, etc

So women will more likely focus their hypergamy on resources rather than looks

Hypergamy is more significant in larged populations of mixed ethnicities, because since there's so much variation there's more to choose from and its easier to distinguish who is better looking

I'm in curryland for a few weeks so trust me when I tell you this: DO NOT MOVE BACK THERE! That region is hot af!
