AFAIK men and Asians (including South Asians) aren't considered vulnerable or protected groups on Reddit, even by most of the userbase. I know for a fact that it's Reddit's official policy that misandry is allowed but misogyny is not, but if I remember right, they've released an official list of four "marginalized groups" against whom hate speech isn't allowed according to them, and Asians weren't there. It was women, Jews, Muslims and maybe black people but I'm not sure about the fourth one, could've been either disabled people or the LGBT community.
