I hate how they made shadow not have bullets in the third movie, but well, whatever. It's a kids movie. If I want to hear gun sounds I can just download the movie and edit those in.

I hate how they made shadow not have bullets in the third movie, but well, whatever. It's a kids movie. If I want to hear gun sounds I can just download the movie and edit those in.

I did actually think Sonic 3 was really good, lol

2 I found too kiddy and 1... was good, but less fleshed out.

The main reason that post-credits scene bothered me is because they reveal this awesome new enemy that looks so intimidating, and then Amy just smashes them all with ease. It stripped away all the mystery and power that the new enemy had.

Maybe the plan is to just flood with numbers and that's how they regain their strength as an opponent, but I don't remember Metal Sonic being presented as that weak before.

Blaze seems a lot stronger than Amy typically but it would still feel kind of lame to have her effortlessly smash a whole group of Metal Sonics lol

They're smashed as if they're regular badniks which is a bit odd.

It makes me wonder just how familiar with the games the writers are, even if they've clearly at least watched most of a playthrough of Sonic Adventure 2!

The problem is that women aren't typically keen on action. They prefer drama and romance and stuff.

This is of course why these classic films featured male protagonists - because they're far more relatable to the target audience.

But now we're supposed to believe that no it was actually sexism and so they all need to be replaced.

I do think there's room for it to get even worse, but as it does it tends to alienate more and more people just like Doctor Who did.
