When it's censored it can sound cooler because it's mysterious, then you listen to the unedited and you think "it was better when they kept their mouth shut."

Being censored forces you to be creative. So I can see why some people prefer radio edits, because the radio edits have to get creative with the writing. Like some of Eminem's songs. However, while I appreciate his creativity, I can't listen to his edited songs.
