It's Over Someone at my school might be about to connect me to my Reddit account. And potentially my entire Internet footprint.

I currently pick up semi-volunteer shifts at this college restaurant, see? But I got the job thanks to a reference on Reddit. I won't be revealing this guy because I'm already afraid he knows me, and some of you can't be trusted to keep a secret. See, this restaurant has a number of locations across campus. He doesn't work at the one I work at so I wasn't exactly worried about running into him. I even had a look at his post history so now I know what his face looks like.

But here's the thing. Thanks to my knowing what his face looks like, I recognized him when he showed up at my location today. He might not know my face, but he can see my post history same as I can see his. So he probably knows about an old man trying to break into the college social environment through things like working at this restaurant. Therefore, if he's heard about an old man working at this college restaurant, he'll know it's me. And from that, who knows what he'll do? Tell my manager about my post history, maybe? From Reddit I can be connected to .IS and Looksmax and a number of other places.

I even hesitate to post this. But if he's looking for me, he's likely already found worse. I guess I post as a way of throwing myself upon the mercies of anyone at my school looking for me now.
