At least when you go to uni you can just sit there on your phone and try to blend into the background, and if the cunt of a teacher wants you to do something you quickly pretend you're paying attention and make something up.

But on zoom and shit they wisen up and seem to do presence checks every now and then, to see if you're paying attention. So I'm supposed to listen to the boring ass lectures for 4 hours just in case they might ask us to do something and call my name out?

Fuck I just don't care about this shit, I want to be done, don't fucking make me pretend I'm listening and that I give a shit and that the questions are something I am interested in.

Not to mention they expect me to talk on the microphone, which I hate to do with my parents in the next room, when it's clear in my tone I don't give a shit.

The whole reaction to the coronavirus has been absolutely fucking bizarre. I'm pretty sure the lockdown caused way, way more harm than the virus itself. Not even 1M deaths worldwide and some of the lockdowns happened so late I'm sure it barely made any fucking difference anyway. I'm still glad because it got me a lot of time off work but still, JFL. Yeah I'll carefully make sure I'm standing 2 metres away from this person even though they could easily just cough and I'd walk through that air 3 seconds later

Ohh yes I fucking hated it from the very beginning. But idk, somehow it just got worse and worse. That's the reason why I dropped out once (well it was also cause I became an alcoholic but I also kinda became one for these reasons). I just couldn't fucking listen to this crap anymore. I despised it with every fiber of my being. The entire educational system is just such a joke, you're basically forced to listen and learn entirely useless bullshit for many years.

Thank god my online class isn’t this bad. The teachers usually don’t ask people questions unless they answer themselves. Although they force us to turn on the camera, I make my camera in a way that it only shows my face and nobody would even notice if I am on my phone
