Yeah alpha never necessarily meant being intelligent or a good leader or a person with good ideas.
All it really means is that you as a male can effectively project dominance and or literally evoke it via the ability to beat other males up or into submission.

There is a reason why foids seek out beta orbiters specifically to be entertained, intrigued, or otherwise engaged; betas tend to be intellectually stimulating, whereas alphas tend to be boneheaded and full of themselves, and just give foids the vagina tingles.
