I'm in late 30s but... wow. It IS getting brutal!!

Under 30 I could live with students and have a blast.

Under 40 I could at least live with professionals and things would be halfway alright.

After 40 omg I can see this coming I'm going to be forced to live alone aren't I?? What is up with this weird introverted society (I'm in the UK) that seems to fetishize absolute isolation.

It's so bizarre.

What next? Beyond 50 I have to live in a cabin in the middle of nowhere like in Breaking Bad and am only allowed social contact once a month! By order of the King! XD

Hm. I wondered why older guys I saw always seemed to live alone in depressing flats and houses and NOW I KNOW.

HELP!! lol

They want you to wageslave and pay taxes maxx. The grannys need their pensions, the kiddies need warm and dry schools paid for by your taxes, the refugees in hotels need your taxes to pay for their upkeep, the civil service such fire brigade and cops need your taxes.

40-55 those are the years where men are the biggest contributors to taxes. Your bosses trust you with more responibilty like locking up at night and taking the keys home then opening the factory up in the morning, you also get paid well for that responsibility because some young buck will mess up every once in a while because he got drunk or something.

If you a white man then go work because the blacks, rapeugees, grannys, foids need your taxes

With 50 incel commune. :feelsLightsaber:

Thinking back, even at 17 when I had a really good social life, I still noticed and commented on how distant adults were.

And now my life has changed so much and is very quiet.

I guess I just need to keep fighting.

Screw this society - I am NOT giving up no matter how lame you make things around me!!

Only below average men are isolated..

Hm it reminds me of this song.

Only below average men are isolated..

Maybe. People with a high SMV will be less likely to feel ignored I guess.

I have this theory that being ignored is even worse than being hated, usually.

Whoa, I thought you were younger. I wouldn't mind living with you (no homo) because I'm not prejudiced against older men like many people my age are (I'm 21).

It doesn't fetishise isolation here, it just leaves you to rot if you're not a normie who got married.

Yeah I act young in many ways I think >.<

Maybe it is to do with "ADHD" (I don't really believe in it but I think I would be considered as having it if I got tested for it).

And aw thanks :)

I remember when I was... I think 22... I used to hang out with people of all ages at hippy gatherings ^^

It was fun but... an issue that came up is sometimes the older guys would date the teenage girls and it seemed a bit dodge O.O

Mostly I mean... I think that people are just people :)

There just seems to be a strong tendency towards it. And often even if you commit the suicidal act of getting married... you're only connected socially until you inevitably divorce. And then you lose a bunch of money and end up...... back in a tiny flat. So... the result always seems to be isolation.

TFW you only human contact is the 2 minutes when you pay the rent

ikr, lol

One thing that occurred to me today on my night walk though is that... irl you don't need to be like Mr Burns and pay an assistant! All you have to do is buy or rent-to-rent a place and rent out rooms either short or long -term. Then people pay you lots to be there, not the other way around!

The main problem is, when they trash the place and won't leave!

Yeah I know what you mean. It's a tricky one.

As I understand there are typically a few categories of people who can stay in your property... the main three being tenant, licensee and guest. Obviously this varies a lot place-to-place. But if you can keep people as licensees or guests as opposed to tenants then it's much easier to get rid of them!

Plus, if you've only rented a room to them as opposed to the whole property, it gives them less room to cause trouble.

Richcel problems.

Yeah erm, credit scores are a great start too.

lol I mean, you can do it with rent-to-rent too and that doesn't cost much.
This is classic Tory mindset. I mean I don't wanna get into politics too much here but man I can relate a lot more to socialistcels, tbh.

Isn't this financial not political?

What's the difference? I'm an anti-capitalist.

What does this actually mean in real terms though...

It means... you don't make an effort to make money? You just want to be given it? Or?

It means I don't believe in the very system you don't seem to question.

All I get tired of is condescending rich people.

Sorry I didn't really mean it like that I just meant... sometimes you need to play by the rules of the system you're in. If you want to thrive.

I mean, yeah I'm right-wing and I like capitalism but... is it really that bad to just "go along to get along"?

I just want the revolution to come, man. Probably I'm an idiot but I just can't conform. I just can't do it.

Hm. Why is capitalism so bad, in your opinion?

I see it as a system that gives us freedom to start businesses, choose who we do business with (even just by choosing what shops we buy things from), and also leads to healthy competition on the open market so that there is fairly fast progress.

It's probably not a perfect system but... it seems quite good to me.

It's rigged, man. The whole thing is rigged.

i mean i haven't seen guys in their 30s and 40s going out and socializing. most of them are husbands now and some have become a completele shut-in besides work.

It does mean though that you have the freedom and space to better yourself if you want :)

You can develop skills, use that to earn more money, invest money that you have, etc.

I mean OK it may be difficult to reach the upper class or even the upper middle-class but I don't think it's so tricky just to be middle-class ^^

Then you have a pretty good quality of life and amount of resources.

I'd rather be down and out than be a middle-class wageslave. They just help fund the elites.

The whole thing's a joke.

You don't have to wageslave to be middle-class. You can be highly skilled and make a good living fairly easily.

Or you can make money from investments and not work at all, or very little.

That's interesting yeah.

As I say I think a common outcome is that someone is married for a long while and then they divorce and lose a bunch of cash and then just end up another shut-in.

There are so many lovely houses out there but unless you have a pretty great life, it's just a slightly larger place to be trapped in.

Sorry, I didn't wanna derail your thread. The harshness I can definitely relate to. And I feel it even more by not being a standard taxpayer.

The only allies in life at this point are my brocels here, tbh.

Yeah a lot of my socialising is done online too.

I do find it so strange that socialising seems to get significantly more difficult with age. At least until you become properly old and then you get retirement communities and all that.

It's that 40-65 age bracket that seems really quite restrictive.

Maybe one day I shall be like this. XD
