That's not a rule and a bit of a cope. Socialising might put you in danger because people are dangerous and also going outside and doing things is inevitably more dangerous. But if you're an outcast you're also in danger, specially in spaces like school and at work. I've seen so much people who get bullied just because they're outcasts, and people who get away with shit because they have more connections to social circles. In nature if you're alone as a human you'll die soon, being expelled and kept away from society used to be a punishment, before cities got this big and individualism took over

You're lucky then, it's not the same for most people. The reason there was a lot of conflict and argument is probably because you weren't very agreeable, thus kind anti-social. Normies just expect you to agree with whatever they say, they don't want to hear "No, you're wrong" after expressing their opinions.

They expected me to loan them money and do things for them.

I decided being alone is way better.
