The biggest problem with modern gaming is social media. Social media has allowed companies to completely write the narrative when it comes to how games are received.

It's impossible to find any legitimate criticism for a game when it releases. Even if the criticism exists google censors it from coming up in the search results. So then I buy a game, discover there's an obvious and blatant problem that all the reviewers skimmed over because they're paid off and immediately regret spending $60.

It's why I always wait for sales now.

The only reason games will ever be criticized is if they're obviously greedy (people ignore when Capcom does it)
Or there's ugly characters.

I don't trust those cucked reviewers. First mistake is paying for the games. Gaming scene as of late has been shit, that's why I pirate everything. Only games worth buying are the games that can be modded, are at sale and I know they can give me at least 500h of playtime. When I find a game that I REALLY REALLY like I might buy it as a physical copy for my ps5 to actually own the game. Anyway, I pirate 95% of games, no regrets, 100% deserved.

Don't forget about those gaming reviewer channels are often invited to companies HQ so they could alpha/beta test the game and make hype shill video for them for free plus usual opening videos that they have received, while rest will never see them since they are a bonus for most loyal shills.
