So, I am on vacation, and in doing so, have had more time to do some shit I've been wanting to get done and not have to worry about being somewhere at a certain time. So today I went over to an area I hadn't been in in a while. I traded some games in, bought some stuff. So, I then had to go and use the bathroom.

So, uh, the place where I went to use it, you could say it's fairly prestigious. It's well known. So they have this athletic facility. I had asked to use the bathroom. Now this is where the title comes in. I fucking shit you not, they asked for an ID to use the fucking restroom. Wow. What the fuck? I get deterring theft, but that's fucking bullshit to me. I'm not even taking this like super fucking personal, just one of those you have to be fucking kidding me things. They also have controlled gates to let people into the facility. The whole place is designed to be a personal comfort zone. I get comfort and luxury, but this is next level bullshit.

The staff was actually pretty cool. They seemed fairly grounded and not full of shit. The clientele, yeah, there was more than a slight tinge of elitism to it. Like it's not my fault if you don't secure your shit enough and someone steals it, fingers crossed that doesn't happen to me haha, but an ID to use a restroom? Wow and I thought I'd seen it all almost. But yeah, what does that say about us where a fucking restroom for a public? well not quite, it appears anyone can join, needs an ID cause some homo is worried about his fucking iphone being stolen?

On top of that, on the way back home, I saw a guy wearing a shirt saying stop buying apple products, fucking right.

this is true. i wanted to real some articles on something called researchgate but you have to have an academic link to use it. if you are a normie with no college link ins you can't access it. also, idk if you've heard about it before, but theres something called "openathens", which is a 3rd party verification thing, that makes it so to access any type of academic research and articles you need this openathens account, and you can only get it through being in a college or by working in a research facility. knowledge is literally only for the elite.
