TeeHee So odd to me the extent to which most women prioritise their appearance over functionality

I'm not saying it's bad really.

Just with guys generally speaking function wins over form, with clothing.

Yet with women... often I see them wearing the craziest things (to my eyes) that really limit their functional use of their body (other than maybe for sex lol) but just... look nice or look quirky.

Men prioritize functionality because we are wired to do explicit task. There is no nuances if one has caught a prey or not, or if one has successfully light a fire or not. All historically "male tasks" were easily measurable and rankable.

Women's role on the other hand wasn't like that. Let's consider there most important aspect, fertility. There's no way of knowing if a girl is fertile or not beforehand.

...unless we consider visual aspects. A girl with good face symmetry, good hip to waist ratio, better hair quality is more likely to be more fertile. Historically women's worth depended on how they looked and even we are wired to notice those, for which porn is addictive to us.

Historically men's worth was on what he can accomplish and women's worth on what there bodies had. That's why women care more about there looks than us.

I find it really funny when they ignore the rest of the statistic to focus on the part where it's women
1/4 of the homeless are women, ok, but what about the other 3/4 who are men?
How dare these whores say that their lives are harder, when they are more valuable to society? The biggest problem in a woman's life is someone looking at her body, or the possibility of being raped.

Yeah you may well be right. I definitely think it's a natural and ultimately worthwhile part of their sexual strategy. It's just the way they are and nature/God made them this way for a reason.
