I am trying to figure out where to start because I am thinking about being a security guard but I don't even know where to start. I am told I have to get a BSIS card first but then told I have to do classes first or get my medical training first like fucker which one???

I plan to stay at my current job for a year or 2 and in the meantime I will try to find out how exactly do I become a security guard in my state as I am ready for being a part time security guard as I have to do college as well.

Not sure where you live but I got my security certification in 1 day.

CA

Nigga how...
I got hired first by a security company. They said show up at this place at certain time and they will give class and exam and background check at the end.

So let me get this straight.

- You apply for security job (entry level)
- Interview
- Show up at X
- Class, exam, background, polygraph, etc

Do you live in CA by chance?

No was not CA. Every state likely does things a little different. But maybe do the same method I did, apply for entry level position that offers training and let them walk you through getting certified.

Ight saved that.

I will stay at my current job for at least a year as I barely just got it then I will try to become a unarmed guard then build my way up to armed guard as I will have both a criminal justice degree and armed security experience to boost my chances of entering the academy after I graduate college.
