are these minoxidil side effects? I'm pretty sure I didn't have these a few days ago. Maybe it's a nocebo but idk, my skin feels like shit. @Gymcelled

Brutal shit, get it checked out

yeah, i get small red bumps too sometimes.

eeeeeeewwww get checked you fucking creep

Just heal your self bro

do you use the foam or the liquid solution?
i usually use the liquid solution but i accidentally ordered a six-month supply of foam so currently using that.
the liquid solution is much better, the foam is an extra step to apply because it turns into a liquid anyway.
and when you get to about the halfway empty point of the foam version can, it doesn't even foam up; it comes out as liquid.

as i've said, the red bumps are a sign that the minoxidil is working. sometimes there is light bleeding on the scalp. these are all signs that the blood is going to your follicles like it's meant to be.

Oh I see, I was wondering if it was some kind of allergic reaction, just read that people often switch to the foam when that happens.

but it's kinda weird, the bumps go down almost close to the middle of my forehead, should I be worried?

i haven't had the bumps since switching to the foam. that's why i think it's less effective.
i heard the alcohol solution in the regular version aids in absorption.
you can also dermaroll to make it absorb better.

after i apply minoxidil, i wipe my face with a salicylic acid wipe so there's no trace of the chemical except on my hairline.
i'm thinking the minoxidil is dripping down your forehead where it's not supposed to be.
you should try using a face wipe after applying it.

Never heard of such a side effect

Probably the cause
I also always wipe my forehead to make sure no minoxidil drips on it.
Make you sure you massage your scalp/hairline so the minoxidil gets in there, you should spend like a solid min or 2 doing that everytime you apply the product tbh :feelsmage:

I sometimes even lie in bed for a few min afterwards so if the product somehow drips it goes back and into the rest of my hair
